Peliyagoda UC budget defeated

The budget of the Peliyagoda Urban Council for 2014 was today defeated by three additional votes against the proposals.  
   
Three council members of United Peoples Freedom Alliance that holds the power of the council had voted against the proposals. Three votes were cast in favour of the budget while six members of the council voted against. (W.D.M. Vithanage & Thilak Nimalasuriya)
