Nugegoda SSP Deshabandu Tennakoon said that the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) has not asked for any police protection for their party headquarters in Battaramulla as far as he is concerned.

He made this response following reports that the JVP has asked for police protection for their party headquarters with the controversy of a spilt within the party. (SD)
