The group of workers attached to the state owned Kahatagaha Mine in Dodangaslanda, who had begun a death fast, called it off after the committee appointed by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Labour Department agreed to fulfill their demands this evening.

Some 70 workers were engaged in the death fast at a shaft located some 1132 feet under ground.
