The umpires names have already been published and they are not top tier ones. Kumar Dharmasena of Sri Lanka won the best umpire's ICC award for 2011 in the recently held ceremony in Sri Lanka. Pakistani umpires Aleem Dar and Asad Rauf to have received accolades. Australian umpires and some others from western countries have been found wanting, in recent times.

The ICC should not appoint umpires from Asian Countries. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh are in the same boat. They should appoint only genuine umpires from Australia and England.
