Mahela is a gentleman and a great captain. His team is very united. Based on the matches he takes firm decisions in selecting the team with no favourism. Why do you say that is cheating? Others like your Dhoni couldn't use their brain. They keep it to use for dollar making. Mahela is a complete captain, he knows how to play his cards.

Why getting things complicated here?? I'm sure Mahela respects Arjuna more than anyone of us. He is a gentleman unlike 'some' who have commented here. Mahela has achieved something significant..we Sri Lankans should be proud of that! So many cricketing legends are in the World T20 team but our very own Mahela is the Captain!!

Mahela and Sangakkara were out with similar actions they performed at T20 series. Mahela should have avoided sweeping to the opposite direction and Sangakkara should have avoided hitting sixes at the beginning. Mathew also was out, attempting to sweep on the opposite direction. Although we all know Malinga is a superb bowler, Mahela should have immediately changed the bowler when WI was found comfortable with Malinga’s bowling. Mahela may be a smart cricketer, but only street-smart. He lacks ethics and openly cheated ICC rules by changing captaincy in the midst of T20 championship.

He had the courage to give up captaincy to sanga and to Perform to be in the Team. This time he took over captaincy when SL team was in poor form. He took us to a final. He doesnt wear Captaincy.. He showed the metal of a True Captain.
