The sudden stoppage of the live telecast of Parliament sessions caught the attention of MPs with UNP MP Ravi Karunanayake asking who took the decision to stop it.

Mr. Karunanayake the live telecast appears to have been stopped without the knowledge of Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa. “Is there any one more powerful than the speaker in Parliament,”he asked.

Deputy Speaker Chadima Weerakody who was on the chair said he would bring this matter to the notice of the Speaker.(YP)
