Heavy traffic is reported from the Colombo-Negombo main road as some areas on the road are flooded with rainwater.

Meanwhile, heavy rains that lashed Ragama flooded the number one platform of the Ragama Railway Station with the Ragama town inaccessible.

Several trains were delayed because of the flood waters submerging the tracks. Nagoda, Rilaulla and Kandana on the Colombo-Negombo Road were covered with several feet of water.

The lightning which accompanied the thunder showers damaged several domestic telephones and electrical appliances. (Devapriya Chandrasiri)

Sorry guys, The concentration is only at Hambantota.

Other parts of this country doesnt belong to Sri Lankan government anymore.
