Australia bound 2 more arrested in Trinco

Two men were taken into police custody while waiting to flee to Australia illegally in Sambalthivu, Trincomalee, late last night, police said.

A tractor and another man, who is the driver of the tractor, were also taken into the police custody with a stock of dry food and eight pairs of slippers

Suspects are to be produced before the court today. The Uppuveli police are conducting further investigations. (Amadoru Amarajeewa)
