President Maithripala Sirisena today appointed Air Vice Marshal Kapila Jayampathy as Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
He was promoted to the rank of Air Marshal.
Former Air Force Commander Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala retired from his post today.

This goes to show that politicians doesn't care about the integrity of important positions such as Air Force Commander. My3 better scrutinise this guy carefully and think again.
