Former Director of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) SSP Shani Abeysekara has been arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division this morning, Police Spokesman Jaliya Senaratne said.

He said the former director was arrested on charges of fabricating evidence over a firearms case at the CID.

Funny thingis no action against slpp kurunegala mayor or puttalam mp who was riding an unlicensed bike without helmet. Seems like mahinda is destroying presidents reputation day by day...
