Body of missing constable found in Anuradhapura

The body of the 38-year-old Police constable attached to the Anuradhapura Police Station, was found at Neelabemma area in Saliyawewa last night.

Police said constable, Lalith Kumarasiri, resident of Medawachchiya had reportedly gone missing with a revolver while he was on duty on April 4.

The weapon was also recovered along with the body. The Saliyawewa Police are investigating.
