Counting of ballot papers of the General Elections 2020 will commence at 8 am on August 6, Elections Commission Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya said today.
The General Election is scheduled to be held on August 5.

Ballot boxes held overnight in lit rooms with Camera on and guarded by patrols selected at random only at the end of polling must be ensured - if not BR will be in. EC pl note.
