Who is Ranil to call you up to take the SLFP leadership?, which was built by your father, when you were the president of Sri Lanka under chair symbol, you had lost the parties pupoularity, then come up with the People's power His Excellency Mahinda Rajapaksa who had shaped up the SLFP to gain momentum. Many of these comments on CBK are full of historical and political ignorance, insults and, in some cases, intellectual stupidity!!! They are not worth refuting in terms of content, because that would only make them more valuable! And the view expressed here and there that we should finally hand over power to the younger generation because they are better at it than the older generation is an overly optimistic idea that could very quickly prove to be a dangerous fallacy that could increase the misery of the country's politics rather than lessen it!!! No country can do without "old", honest and experienced politicians if it wants to shape and secure the future!
