Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe, the President’s Special Envoy on Human Rights delivering Sri Lanka’s National statement at the 22nd regular session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva said Sri Lanka strongly object to any unfair, biased, unprincipled and unjust approach that may be adopted by this Council on Sri Lanka.

SL is the only country eradicate terrorism with zero casualty in the world and teaching the other countries who wants to fight against terrorists without casualty.This is the reason most of the countries turn their face against SL including the countries who helped to beat the terrorism exclude China and Russia. . The fact is now the IC are giving pressure to investigate what had happen in the last stage of war.seems to IC didn't believe our own investigation because of our politician, before 2009 SL is well influence country in our sub continent and also in the world. if we don't listen and don't do some think about the allegations we are going to isolate from IC and this is great danger to our country.

No wonder then, India who originally instigated this resolution through the USA is now asking S/L to negotiate with the USA to arrive at a consensus so that the resolution does not go to a vote and the cowards do not have to vote against Sri Lanka and compromising their strategic interests and leverages within Sri Lanka ....
