The protesters who have broken the police baricades at Chatham street in Colombo Fort have entered the President's House a short while ago.
Police used tear gas and water Cannons and opened fired to disperse protesters this morning to prevent protesters from entering.
However, the protesters entered the President's House after putting down the baricades.
However the President has already been vacated from the premises before the protests began in Colombo.
Meanwhile, at least 30 persons including two police officers were injured during ongoing protests and were admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo.(DSB)

So sad in 2009 we were dancing in the streets dressed in traditional garb in adulation of our war hero. Today we are breaking into his abode with the intention of vanquishing him, his siblings and extended family. Even if we get rid of him nothing is going to change without drastic structural and political reforms

Now the people of Sri Lanka should ask themself with the words of John F. Kennedy : Dont ask what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country. STOP CORRUPTION, NEPOTISM, LEARN DISZIPLIN, RESPECT EACH OTHER AND AFTER ALL DONT BE WASTEFUL.
