Who is this 'Chamara Gunasekera' might as well name him Boru Nama Miniha. How could this so named person ever stop court action? This is all a ruse by the government to divert from local government election issues.

Doesn't the UK Government have very strong anti-money laundering laws? UK government should examine how these funds were deposited and for what purpose. This is an unthinkable thing for SL government not raising this with UK government. This is not a small amount of money. In Australia, even $10,000 transfers are properly investigated by Austrack before clearing.

just look at banks accounts of X Press Feeders Singapore, the company responsible for disaster. They clearly paid the bribe of $250m to avoid paying the $6.2billion in damages.

The claim of 250 million dollar bribe in parliament is utterly unbelievable. It seems a total fabrication. Reminiscent of Wimal W making claims about US military base being built here. Think about it which briber would drop 250 million dollars into a personal bank account, it would immediate red flag and be noticed. If it happened in the UK, here or any other country. The bank itself would get alarmed and suspect. The so called bribe hasn't happened and these are all tricks which will result in nothing but pulling the wool over the eyes of the naive public about more important matters.
