Praveen shines, Lumbini MV record fifth outright win

Feb. 27 (Daily Mirror) - Right arm spinner Praveen Maneesha shone for Lumbini MV in their massive outright win by an innings and 304 runs over President’s College Kotte in the Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter concluded at Colts grounds.

Maneesha bagged five scalps in President’s College's second innings to bundle them out for 126 runs and ended with a match bag of seven wickets as Lumbini MV coasted to their fifth outright win.. The off-spinner with his seven wicket match bag has so far taken 55 wickets in eight matches.

An allround performance by Inuka Karannagoda helped Mahanama College Colombo to record an innings and two runs win over Maris Stella Negombo while Gurukula MV Kelaniya and St. Anthony’s Wattala too recorded outright wins against St. Servatius Matara and St. Anne’s Kurunegala in the matches which ended at Matara and Wattala.
