The Sri Lanka Paralympic Committee has entered para-athlete Palitha Bandara to represent the country at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Bandara was placed fourth in the discus throw event at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
He will be competing in the F42 discus throw event. The Army athlete will be accompanied by his coach, Danushka Perera.
Sri Lanka’s Paralympic Committee president is hopeful that Bandara will win a medal at the Commonwealth Games.
