Mar. 14 (Daily Mirror) - The Ceylon Motor Sports Club (CMSC) announced that the 90th Anniversary of the Mahagastota Hill Climb will take place in Nuwara Eliya on April 6 and 7.
ACBT, Sri Lanka’s premier higher education establishment will be the title sponsor for this event.
This meet will be the season opener in Nuwara Eliya, with motorbikes taking to the track on April 6 and modern racing cars vying for the fastest time up the hill on April 7.
The parade of historic cars will run from Colombo on Friday and arrive in Nuwara Eliya, where an exhibition will take place at the Lake Gregory Car Park.
From there, they will leave for a parade around the Nuwara Eliya Town before setting runs at the Mahagastota Hill Climb Track.
The meet for the timed sessions for positions will commence at 8.00 a.m. on April 6 and 7.
