Army SC emerged champions of the Major Club T20 cricket tournament when they recorded a comfortbale 45-run win over Colts CC in the final played at P Sara Stadium.

Army SC’s title win came on the back of an all-round performance by Seekkuge Prasanna who was supported by Lakshan Edirisinghe. Army SC taking first lease of the wicket were helped by useful knocks from Seekkuge Prasanna, Ashan Randika and Yasoda Mendis making a modest score of 139 for 9.

Later Prasanna along with Edirisinghe together shared six wickets between them combining to bowl out Colts CC for a score of 94 runs.
