Under 19 Cricket Kithma second player to bag ten scalps

Ananda College right arm spinner Kithma Widanapathirana  became the second bowler in the ongoing Under 19 inter-school cricket season to bag all ten scalps which he achieved against Zahira Colombo played at Maradana.

Kithma ended with impressive figures of 10 for 29 in 16.2 overs which included six maidens and in whole he ended up with a match bag of 13 wickets which Ananda prevailed with a first inning win. 

The match was also their annual traditional match for the T.B. Jayah Memorial Trophy.

In a week of matches hampered by rain, the other matches played saw Kingswood along with Hindu College Colombo, St Joseph’s Wattala and Royal Horana recording first inning wins.
