Sri Lankans contest physique sports championships in Thailand

World Championship medalist Nisa Madumali and South Asian medalist Vishwa Tharuka left for Thailand to represent Sri Lanka at the 57th WBPF/ABBF Asian Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championships. The championship will take place from today until August 25, featuring a week of competition with elite athletes from across Asia.
The event is organized by the Thailand Bodybuilding Association, with the support of the Ministry of Sports of Thailand, the National Olympic Committee, the Sports Authority and the National Sports Fund.
In addition to the athletes, Jagath Samarasekara and Janaka Samarasinghe will participate in the championship as members of the Executive Committee of the Asian Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Federation (ABBF).
