Junior Hockey Nationals from January 22

The Sri Lanka Hockey Federation (SLHF) will conduct the Under-21 Men’s and Women’s Junior Hockey Nationals 2024 from January 22-26 at the Colombo Hockey Turf.
This will be the first hockey tournament held at the newly constructed Colombo Hockey Turf.
The 45th Junior Hockey Nationals will feature 14 Men’s teams and 10 Women’s teams.
SLHF stated that outstanding players will be selected for the national junior squad based on their performances at this year’s Junior Nationals in preparation for international tournaments in 2025.

Men’s Teams:
Colombo HA, Defence Services HA, Matara HA, Badulla HA, Sri Lanka Schools HA (Maroon), Gampaha HA, Mercantile HA, Kandy HA, Galle HA, Combined Universities HA, Matale HA, Wennappuwa HA, Sri Lanka Schools HA (Gold), Kalutara HA.
Women’s Teams:
Wennappuwa HA, Combined Universities HA, Gampaha HA, Sri Lanka Schools HA (Maroon), Matale HA, Kandy HA, Colombo HA, Kalutara HA, Galle HA, Sri Lanka Schools HA (Gold).
