Sri Lanka juniors booked a berth to the semi-finals of the ongoing ITF Asia Oceania World Junior Tennis Team Championship when they came out victorious three sets to nil win against Saudi Arabia in the quarter-final encounter played at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo yesterday.
Sri Lanka succeeded to take the lead by winning the two singles encounters with Aahil Kaleel overcome Ali Mohammed Al Ahmad and Methika Wickramasinghe getting the better of Haider Mohammed Al Fraid by two sets to nil.
Later Methika partnered by Aahil Kaleel pulled off a comfortable win over the Saudi Arabia pair Haider Mohammed Al Fraid and Abdul Razak Al Henabi also by two sets to nil.
