Kelani Valley railway line ticket system out of service

Colombo, June 9 (Daily Mirror) - Due to a sudden outage in the newly introduced train ticketing system on the Kelani Valley railway line, tickets will not be issued to passengers travelling on morning train services today, the Railways Department said.

Passengers have been informed that the ticketing system is experiencing technical difficulties, preventing the issuance of tickets at stations along the line.

Railway officials said steps are being taken to restore the system as soon as possible and apologised for the inconvenience caused to commuters.
