ITF Asia Under 14 Development Championship: Annaya and Sahansa advance to semi-finals

Sri Lanka’s Annaya Norbert and Sahansa Damsiluni advanced to the semi finals of the ITF Asia Under 14 South Asia, South East Asia and East Asia Development Week 2 Tennis Championship emerging victorious in the quarter final encounters played at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo yesterday.
The duo won their matches with ease with Annaya overcoming Howladci Jannat of Bangladesh and Sahansa getting the better of Adama Macono of Mongolia. Sri Lanka’s third player Eliza Kahagalla lost to Sohail Hajira of Pakistan while Gurung Shivali of Nepal won the fourth quarter final against Zia Ullah Khan of Pakistan. The two semi finals are scheduled to be worked off today.
