HNB and Air Force qualify to Netball Nationals final

Defending champion Hatton National Bank (HNB) and runners-up Sri Lanka Air Force qualified for the finals of the 2023 Dialog Netball Nationals.

Conducted by the Sri Lanka Netball Federation (SLNF), the preliminary round matches of this tournament were held at Torrington Grounds and the final will be held today (13) in the same venue at 10.00am.

HNB beat SL Navy 39-27 while SL Air Force beat SL Army 30-24 in the semifinals of this tournament which saw the participation of 35 teams.

In the quarter-finals, SL Navy beat HFC Kurunegala 33-18, SL Air Force beat Musaeus College 31-16, HNB beat Kothalawala Defence University 38-07 and SL Army received a walkover from Kalutara Balika Vidyalaya.

The third place match between SL Army and SL Navy is scheduled to be held today at 8.30am.
