“ We will have our day…!”

A group of young government Diyawanna members had gathered at the council lobby for a chat on the day the no confidence motion against the Top team Member for Health was taken up for debate.

While discussing the no confidence motions in general, a state purohita representing the district in the Western province addressing his colleagues said: “ This no confidence motion is going to be defeated thanks to Number One’s intervention! But if a no confidence  motion is moved against so and so in the Top Team, that will spell his doom!”
A Diyawanna member from Wayamba who readily agreed with the state purohita, mentioned the names of several Top Team members adding: “ Should they happen to face no confidence motions, we will not be there to support them!” 
While most of them had made comments endorsing the Wayamba  colleague’s statement, they had also discussed some matters relating to Defense, schools, and courts as well.
The conversation, they say, had concluded with a gabby Diyawanna member saying, “We will have our day. Let us wait for it!”
