The much-publicized plan drawn up by some Blue party members to get up a new political alliance while remaining within the government has run into snags, they say.

Some political party leaders in the ruling coalition who pledged support for the proposed new alliance at the outset no longer show any interest in its formation and are dodging talks on the subject, they say.

It has also come to light that these political party leaders are in a blue funk that they may lose evenwhat little political clout they wield now if they team up with the Blue party which they see as no longer a political force. So, they have now started sidestepping the proposed move.

However, the secretarial one is said to be firm in his resolution to form the new alliance. So, he is set to organize the alliance at least with a few political parties and groupingsto demonstrate their strength to the government, they say.
