“Lightening struck due to God’s wrath!”

Lightening has  struck the Colombo 7 official residence of the head of a very important establishment, they say
His official residence is located  in the heart of Colombo 7 where there are several other official residences as well of some mandarins like him.
The mandarin and his wife had been inside the residence at the time the lightening had struck, but they had suffered no injury.  However, all the electrical appliances in the residence worth several millions had been badly damaged.
As this strike had occurred in the night, the mandarin is trying to keep it a secret, they say. However, the ‘Red boys’ of his establishment which had come under severe criticism in the past, are quietly spreading this news.
The ‘Red boys’ are said to be describing this strike as one from the heavens due to God’s wrath!
