How one governing one escaped getting the chop!

The impending move to appoint new governing ones to the provinces has become a hot topic these days. However, only four governing ones have been asked to tender their resignation. Meanwhile, sources say that the government’s initial plan was to replace five governing ones with new ones.

Having taken the decision to replace the five with new appointees, Number One had  discussed it with his immediate predecessor because it was, he who had made the appointments and he considered it worthwhile to consult his opinion!
The former Number One during this discussion had  not pressed against  the replacement of four of the five governing ones. However, while expressing his opinion about the fifth one, he had urged that he be retained in office adding “ Please give him a chance to prove his worth.”
So, the fifth one escaped being asked to resign for Number One heeded the wish of his predecessor.
The governing one of the province on which the Sun sets is said to be the lucky one who got a chance  to continue in office!
Meanwhile, some sources say that the four governing ones due to get the chop, will refuse to tender their resignation. However, government sources say that they will be made to go!
