No problem, can retire back to Madamulana

I read a news item in your newspaper  that a  Member of Parliament and a Rajapakse loyalist, the son of an unsavoury character, had said that there was no issue regarding former president Mahinda Rajapakse’s housing as he can come to Medamulana. Yes indeed,  it is not the house that D.A. Rajapakse lived in.  It is now a mini mansion with a deviation provided from the expressway, WHICH WAS NOT IN THE ORIGINAL PLAN  BUT MADE AT GREAT COST TO THE COUNTRY TO GET TO THE MEDAMULANA SUMMER PALACE.

He has a newly built 100 million rupee mansion in TANGALLE. It was said that no one from the CEB was allowed to read the meter. Sometime back, I guess after the family lost power, the CEB demanded Rs. 12 million as arrears. What happened after that, I don’t know.

The aforementioned member of parliament must not mislead the public. I guess even a lift may be in use in that mansion.

I wonder whether he is aware of or pretends not to know that there is an underground bunker in the Fort Residence that he was using which  cost the poor man Rs. 400 million. This bunker is supposed to be with elevators and other luxury equipment which includes choice Italian bathroom fittings.

That’s not all. During his time,  he even provided a swimming pool  for the sons. Luxury at its best.
