Two cops injured when raiding gambling den

A sub inspector and a police constable were injured and admitted to the General Hospital, Nagoda Kalutara when they were pelted with stones during a raid on a gambling den at Dodangoda in Kalutara yesterday, Police said. The police had arrived at the location following a tip-off but by then the gamblers had fled the scene.   

However, one of the gamblers was arrested and they were pelted with stones when attempting to seize a motorcycle, which was near the gambling den.
