QR code fuel issuance system to continue; no change to quotas

The QR code-based fuel issuance system will continue without interruption, as the government has not taken any decision to discontinue the programme, Managing Director of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC), Mayura Neththikumarage, said. 
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Neththikumarage assured that the country will continue to receive an uninterrupted fuel supply in the future, easing concerns over any possible changes to the existing distribution system.  He also confirmed that no decision has been taken to either increase or reduce the current fuel quota allocations, indicating that the existing quota limits will remain in place until further notice.
