Hundreds of thousands of Buddhist devotees yesterday thronged the historic Anuradhapura, one of the three places where the National Poson celebration was held this year. People commemorating the advent of Buddhism to Sri Lanka 2327 years ago are seen here worshippng at the Sri Maha Bodhiya in Anuradhapura.
