Hunter dies by his own gun

A 26-year-old had been killed when his firearm accidentally discharged at the Wasgamuwa National Park on Saturday night, the Police said.  ` 

They said the incident was reported when the victim and two other relatives of his had gone hunting at the Wasgamuwa National Park.  The deceased was identified as a resident of Kalahagala, Polonnaruwa.   
The Magistrate’s inquiry into the death was conducted at the scene.
