Galle Rampart Entrance closed for renovation

The main entrance of the Galle Rampart opposite the Cricket Stadium will remain closed for renovations for a month with effect from today.   

The Mayor of Galle Priyantha Sahabandu said the arch of the entrance to the rampart would be conserved under the on-going development project. He said the arch would be reinforced with a concrete layer and said that the old entrance at Baladaksha Mawatha could be used by the public pending repairs to the main entrance.
