CCD records Magistrate Hemapala’s statement

The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) yesterday recorded a statement from Magistrate Dhammika Hemapala, who is currently under interdiction in connection with the telephone conversations he had with UNP MP Ranjan Ramanayake.  The CCD also recorded a statement from Embilipitiya High Court Judge Gihan Pilapitiya on Sunday and former High Court Judge Padmini Ranawaka on Monday on a directive by Attorney General Dappula de Livera.
