The 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China was held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) on Monday. President Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya and Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Cheng Xueyuan participated at the event.
