30th commemoration of fallen JVP heroes

The 30th Il Maha Viru Samaruma to mark the death anniversary of the founder of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) Rohana Wijeweera and other slain heroes was held yesterday (13) at Sawoda Hall in Galle under the auspices of JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayaka.  Among the party leaders seen after lighting the lamps in remembrance of the fallen heroes are, Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayaka, General Secretary Tilvin Silva, parliamentarians Nihal Galappatthi, Dr. Nalinda Jayathissa and Bimal Rathnayaka. Former parliamentarians Jinadasa Kithulegoda and K. D. Lalkantha are also in the picture.
