In this spiritual journey when the road ends and the goal is gained, the pilgrim finds that he has travelled only from himself to himself.- Sai Baba.

Today (November 23) is the birthday of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba who is known to the world as the incarnation of God. Sai Baba was born in a village called Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh, South India.
He spread his message based on love, truth, peace, non-violence and right conduct which are popularly known as Human Values through the principle of Sarwa Dharma. The writer has compiled this article based on his teachings to the world at large.

Throughout the evolution of human consciousness, the Universe has granted special beings from time to time whose teachings have shaped and changed mankind to become better human beings. Sathya Sai Baba, the Avatar of the Kaliyuga changed people by offering them unconditional love. His Divine purpose was to teach mankind to experience the divine within every human being. His teachings based on human values namely truth, peace, love, non-violence and right conduct are of great importance to realize the God within. These golden human values will undoubtedly direct mankind to self-realization or nirvana according to Lord Buddha.

Most people who come to his fold have experienced an inner urge to change for the better to serve society at large. His teachings emphasize that there is only one caste - the caste of humanity, only one religion - the religion of Love, only one language - the language of the heart and only one God and he is omnipresent and resides within all of us and answers to our prayers in response to our karmic debts.

Sai Baba has mentioned on many occasions that the difference between him and us is that he knows that he is God and we do not know that God is within us and seek refuge from outside sources to find God.
Swami has clearly stated that God or Buddha cannot be found in temples or churches or kovils or mosques but inside the body of the man.
He never encouraged people to give up their respective religions. He specifically said to continue the worship of their chosen deity familiar to them and find inner peace; Shanthi.

Sathya Sai Baba preached Bhakti Marga, which elaborates on unconditional love towards the chosen deity. This will help people to awaken the God within. Chanting or reciting God’s name is the best practice in the Bhakti Marga to achieve peace & happiness according to Baba. We are all searching for peace & happiness. Unfortunately for many, it is a difficult task. Material or physical wealth cannot offer you lasting peace of mind. They are temporary illusions. One should develop selfless love or unconditional love to seek happiness and peace within which
lasts forever.

Unconditional love means seeing oneness in everyone. If you desire to become a member of the divine team you need to have the necessary qualifications. May the blessings of our Divine Lord Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba shower his blessings on our motherland to overcome the current economic crisis. Jai Sai Ram!-
