Facebook and Instagram down for millions as users report issues

LAD BIBLE - Facebook and several other Meta-owned platforms appear to have gone down worldwide, leaving millions of users unable to access their accounts.

Earlier today (12 June), shortly after 2:30pm, websites such as Downdetector began to notice a spike in users reporting error messages when trying to access the social media app on its web and mobile sites.

Meanwhile, users have also noticed issues when accessing Instagram and the WhatsApp desktop feature.

According to downforeveryoneorjustme, the issue is not just in the UK but also worldwide, with users from the Philippines, Canada, the USA, Australia and India all reporting issues when trying to access their accounts.
