‘Let’s not forget’: Commemorating murdered and disappeared journalists in Sri Lanka

Journalists for Rights and the Sri Lanka Young Journalists’ Association have organised a commemorative event in view of journalists who were murdered or disappeared over the past few years in Sri Lanka. 
The event will witness a street drama and various other performances by amateur artistes who will showcase their creative work in relation to media freedom and freedom of expression. 
The event will be held today (January 31st) from 4.30-6.30pm at the Viharamaha Devi Park (near the Buddha statue).
