Touchwood share price soars

The share price of Touchwood Investments PLC rose over 72 per cent or Rs.1.30 in today's trading, following the announcement of the appointment of MP Duminda Silva to its Board of Directors.

The counter saw heavy trading with nearly 26 million shares changing hands in 1, 717 trades, generating a revenue of Rs.65.78 million. The last traded price of the Touchwood share was Rs.3.10.
