The CID today informed court that investigations into the killing of Sunday Leader Editor Lasantha Wickremetunga will be kept confidential until the conclusion of the inquiries since there is a threat for these reports being leaked into the hands of outside parties.
The CID has informed the Mount Lavinia Additional Magistrate Harsha Setunge that a comprehensive report on the investigations into the killing would be re-submitted to court once the investigations are over.
The Magistrate ordered the CID to furnish a complete report to court on conclusion of the investigations.
