Ravana Balaya wants two Bishops arrested

While claiming that the Bishops of Mannar and Jaffna have provided ‘false’ information to US Ambassador-at-Large Stephen J. Rapp on the Sri Lankan civil war, the Ravana Balaya Organisation today urged the Inspector General of Police to arrest them.

“We condemn Stephen J. Rapp’s statement calling for a war crime investigation on Sri Lanka. We strongly believe that his statement is based on false information provided by Mannar Bishop Rev. Rayappu Joseph and Jaffna Bishop Rev. Thomas Soundranayagam. Therefore they should be arrested,” General Secretary the Ven. Iththekande Saddhatissa Thera said. (LSP)
