Northern trains back on track

The train services on the Northern Railway Line, disrupted due to the accident at Potuhera Railway Station last Wednesday (30) were now operating as usual, the Railways Department said.

Operations Superintendent L.A.M. Ratnayake said all the trains including the Colombo-Palai train operated this morning as scheduled.

He said some minor repairs remained to be completed this morning and said that the track would be completely cleared by 2.00p.m. this afternoon.(AS)
