Democratic Party Leader Sarath Fonseka today hailed the example set by Indians by toppling the corrupt and inefficient UPA Government and urged Sri Lankans to follow suit and save this country from the clutches of a corrupt regime.

“The people of India have taken a responsible decision by rejecting corruption and inefficiency and electing a new government. We approve and applaud the decision taken by the Indian people to topple the corrupt Government which ruled the country for 10 years. We request our people to also take responsible and brave decisions to save the country from corruption by upholding good governance and justice for all,” Mr. Fonseka said.(Ajith Siriwardana)
