Senior Minister A.H.M Fowzie speaking at the meeting held yesterday, with the residents of  Pothtuvil had commented on the rumours surrounding the "Mystery man". Fowzie  told  residents " there are rumours being spread by people with vested interests that the mystery man  is a making of the government. I have also heard stories which have said that the  president needs blood of females in order to reign forever. If that was so millions of people in the country would be willing to drop a shed of thier blood for the president".

He went on to say that "the country had suffered enough during the past thirty years and  this region was one of those worst affected. These people with vested interests want to create  instability just as peace and normalcy is returning to the country." He added that "  People who dont want to see Sri Lanka returning to normalcy are creating problems outside  the country and now they have moved within the country" He said.
