The Colombo-Katunayake Expressway declared open by President Mahinda Rajapaksa this morning would be opened for public from 6 p.m. today, an official said.

Project Director Pushpa Gunaratne of the Road Development Authority (RDA)said although the road was declared open this morning, the authority had decided to open the road after 6 p.m. today in order to clear the road after this morning function.
